Hermes Giovanni Castro Rodriguez
He was born on February 20, 1990. Barquisimeto Lara Venezuela.
Musical career
He started his DJ career at the age of 15, spinning at local parties and proms. After finishing high school, he decides to enter the university to learn Computer Science and Systems. While at the same time working in the nightclubs of his city and in the renowned clubs in his country, in 2011 and 2012 he was the official DJ of Rumbas Venezuela, one of the largest web pages of the night scene, in the In 2016, he decided to move to Miami, Florida, United States, which became the city where he currently resides. In 2018, he decided to start his career professionally as a house music producer, being hired that same year by the In Progresso Records label of the well-known Eduardo Javith DJ Yayo. Hermes’ first release on In Progresso Records was «Summer Groove», which in turn was very well received.
After this release, he signed with Labels such as Nervous Records (New York) Made In Miami (Miami) Magic Beatz Records (Colombia) At the same time he played at various renowned venues in the city of Miami, always standing out for his good vibes and excellent musical selection that without a doubt they give that unique flavor in their sessions.
In 2019 he was nominated for the first edition of the 305 Latin Awards and would win the 2019 Best Miami Dj trophy.
In 2021 he was hired by 305 made in miami, Dj Oscar G’s record label, his first hit «Esa Loca», described by nervous new relesed «Esa Loca» such an iconic and powerful vocal sample… a producer really needs to adapt to the way this track was built. “Esa Loca” is one of those vocal elements, and Venezuela native DJ Hermes has done the right thing with a sizzling 305 beat to bring out its flavor in the best possible way, a song heavily influenced by Tribal house turned into a track impossible not to use in the sessions of many DJs in the world, reaching #03 in the Top 100, of www.Traxsource.com being included in the charts of DJs such as The Cube Guys, Tooper, Danny Cohiba, Narf Zayd.
Soon after he is hired by nervous records (New York) which his first release Sing It Back with Rafael Pineda (Fly) an Ep which included the Afro Original Mix version and Remixes by Saliva Comandos.

In February 2022 he decides to launch his own record label DRUMS BEATS RECORDS.
Hermes is currently based in Miami.

Comenzó su carrera como DJ a la edad de 15 años, pinchando en fiestas locales y fiestas de graduación. Después de terminar el high school, decide ingresar a la universidad para aprender Informática y sistemas. Mientras al mismo tiempo trabajaba en los clubes Nocturnos de su ciudad y en los Clubes de renombre en su País, en el año 2011 y 2012 fue el Dj official de Rumbas Venezuela, una de las páginas web más grandes de la escena nocturna, en el año 2016 decide mudarse a Miami Florida Estados Unidos la cual se convirtió en la ciudad donde radica actualmente, en el año 2018 decide comenzar profesionalmente su carrera como productor musical de house music siendo en ese mismo año contratado por el sello In Progresso Records del conocido Eduardo Javith Dj Yayo. El primer lanzamiento de Hermes por In progresso Records fue «Summer Groove”, que, a su vez, tuvo muy buena aceptación.
Después de este lanzamiento firmo con Labels como Nervous Records (New York) Made In Miami (Miami) Magic Beatz Records (Colombia) Al mismo tiempo pinchaba en varios locales reconocidos en la ciudad de miami siempre destacando por su buena vibra y excelente selección musical que sin duda dan ese sabor único en sus sesiones.
En 2019 fue nominado a la primera edición de Premios Latinos 305 y se consagraría con el trofeo a mejor Dj De Miami del 2019.
